
Experience
Over 19 years of public accounting experience with “Big 5” accounting firms, including seven years as a tax partner of KPMG Peat Marwick and over 10 years as a Principal of Business Valuation, Inc. As a CPA, Mr. Hand has represented numerous clients before the Internal Revenue Service. He has substantial experience with valuation and tax issues affecting "S" corporations and partnerships. Mr. Hand is also experienced with valuation issues for estate and gift tax purposes. He has co-authored articles, text and led professional training seminars on tax and valuation issues affecting S Corporations and Family Limited Partnerships.

He is Past President of the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Florida; Past President of the Planned Giving Council of Northeast Florida; member of the Association for Corporate Growth; Past Chairman of the Salvation Army Advisory Board; Past Chairman of the Arlington Family YMCA Advisory Board; Director of the Brooks Health Foundation; member of the Professional Advisors Counsel of The Community Foundation.
