Business Valuation, Inc. is expanding into the Savannah market, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to providing business owners and their advisors with direct access to valuation and advisory services in the region.
For more than 35 years, BVI has delivered independent, technically rigorous valuation, litigation support, and advisory services nationwide. BVI’s team of certified appraisers provide advisory services in support of succession planning, estate and tax analysis, financial reporting, ESOP transactions, ownership transitions, and expert testimony in commercial disputes.
Brantley DeWitt, a senior analyst for BVI, is fulfilling a family goal by moving to Savannah and anchoring BVI’s valuation services for the market. He has a strong background in financial modeling, valuation analysis, consulting and transaction support, and will be focused on working closely with business owners, attorneys, CPAs, and other advisors throughout the region.
This move builds on the foundation established by its sister firm, Heritage Capital Group, which has served Savannah since 2018. The two firms collaborate to offer complementary services across the full lifecycle of business ownership—from valuation and strategic planning to M&A execution and succession. As a member of Oaklins, a leading global M&A advisory organization with more than 850 professionals in over 40 countries, Heritage provides local clients with access to international reach and industry expertise.
Heritage recently moved to a larger Midtown office to support its growing team of Bob Spell, Kevin Patterson, Matt Green and market leader, Bill Skinner. BVI will share this location.
“Valuation plays a pivotal role in nearly every strategic decision a business owner makes, from succession planning to M&A to estate considerations,” said Bill Sorenson, managing director of BVI and CEO of Heritage Capital Group. Our team is well positioned to advise owners through the entire life cycle of their businesses.
“Savannah’s business community is vibrant and growing, and BVI’s expanded presence is a reflection of our commitment to serve it with the highest level of technical expertise and personal attention,” said Bill Skinner. “Our clients deserve resources that are accessible, responsive, and deeply connected to the local market.”
